Don Maclennan: Compassberg

In 2003 Don wrote the poem Under Compassberg, here is the last stanza ….

Scatter my ashes

on the summit I so loved

Let the dolerite have

what’s left of me.

When the wind blows from the north

the scent of agathosma will enfold me.

On 21 and 22 March 2009 we gave him his wish and here is a photo record of it.
